Hello, I’m Mrs. Pozzobon, and I am truly blessed to serve as principal of St. Elizabeth Catholic Elementary School.
Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision, as elementary school is where students spend 10 formative years of their lives. At St. Elizabeth, we provide a safe, inclusive, and faith‑based environment where all children are welcomed and loved as children of God.
Founded in 1953, our school has a proud history of Catholic education in Wainfleet. From our beginnings in the local rectory, to being one of the first electrically heated schools in Ontario, St. Elizabeth has always embraced growth and innovation. In 2024, we began a new chapter in a beautiful new school beside Marshville Public School, serving students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 as part of the Lakeshore Catholic High School family.
Though small in size, our school is mighty in spirit. Guided by the example of our patron saint, St. Elizabeth of Hungary, a model of service and compassion, we nurture students in mind, body, and spirit so they can grow in faith, discover their gifts, and achieve their personal best. We are committed to teaching students Catholic values of service while fostering academic success, helping each child reach their full potential and thrive in all areas of learning.
We believe that St. Elizabeth should be the first choice for families in our neighbourhood who want to enroll their child in a school that provides excellence in Catholic education. We can’t wait to welcome you into our community!
